Andrea Iyamah and Oluchi Orlandi recreate childhood nostalgia with new campaign.

Photgraphed by Kadara Enyeasi, the Andrea Iyamah October 2018 campaign re-creates some of the fondest memories of the Nigerian child.

The campaign casts supermodel, Oluchi Orlandi.

Oluchi Orlandi is adorned in bright Andrea Iyamah swimsuit pieces alongside energetic Nigerian children. The campaign features the brand’s swimwear in a range of bright colors such as purple, yellow and blue.  Shot in Yaba, Lagos Nigeria, the campaign incorporates Nigerian childhood activities such as fetching water and traditional games.

At Andrea Iyamah we celebrate culture through our monthly campaigns, this month of October following Nigerian Independence Day we wanted to celebrate the Nigerian childhood. The energetic, bright and free-spirited personality of  a Nigerian child are elements we instill in our swimwear pieces using color. Oluchi’s energy, confidence and Nigerian story was a match made in heaven for this campaign.” – Andrea Iyamah – Creative Director, AI

Why do I write? Writing has always been a part of me, at an early age, my dad would make me write him stories about what happened at school, or things that made me feel a certain way. I quickly stopped looking at it as a chore and instead as something that actually made me happy. I became a Content Creator because I want to be part of the community producing valuable and useful content.
