The 5 African Beauty Influencers To Watch Out For In 2019

One of the reasons we are excited for this new year is because of the amazing creatives that we had a taste of in 2018. We know everyone starts a New year with new goals, and we are eager to see what these 5 African beauty influencers have in store for us this year.

1. Dimma Umeh

The first African beauty influencer on our list is none other than Dimma Umeh. We have been following Dimma’s beauty looks for a very long time, and they haven’t stopped impressing us. Her makeup looks embody everything the term ‘Natural Glow’ stands for. In 2018, she gave us some amazing brand looks, looks that were so good that a lot of major beauty and makeup brands took notice.

She worked with the Huda beauty and Mega growth brands to name a few, and she killed all her brand collaborations by being consistent with what her personal brand stands for. We are excited to see what she has cooked up for us this 2019.

2. Mihlali Ndamase

Mihlali Ndamase had our hearts with every content she created in 2018, and we are glad to see that that hasn’t changed so far. Mihlali is one of the most followed influencers in South Africa, and there is a reason for that. When it comes to makeup and beauty, this African beauty influencer knows just how to describe every makeup look, process and technique perfectly. Not only that, but her online personality is amazing and her creative focus is every girl’s dream.

3. Ronke Raji

Moving on, we have the most amazing Ronke Raji. Ronke is a Nigerian beauty blogger who ensures that she tells a story with any beauty content she creates. We love Ronke’s creativity and openness on social media. Amongst other accomplishments in 2018, this beauty made her NYFW debut in September. We are excited to see what she has in store for us this 2019

4. Afua Rida

Another amazing African beauty influencer on our list is Afua Rida. This Ghanaian is not only a beauty influencer, but also a stylist. Talk about multi-talented. She had a lot of global brand collaboration in 2018, and from the looks of the content she puts up on her Instagram, this year is already looking great for her. The best thing about Afua though is her amazing smiles that looks like it lights up every room she walks into.

5. Nyma Tang

Finally, we have the one and only Nyma Tang. We are totally in love with this beauty bloggers makeup looks! Nyma is a South Sudanese living in the US. 2018 was a year were she cemented herself as the go to for black beauties looking for the perfect makeup shade. This woman has proudly found a niche for herself in the makeup and beauty space, and a lot of top brands have begun to take note.
