Maybelline selects DJ Cuppy as their ‘It Girl’!

Nigeria’s very own DJ Cuppy has been selected as global beauty brand Maybelline’s “It Girl” for Nigeria and Ghana and we are very much here for it!

“As a young African female, it is an honour for me to be able to represent and join the Maybelline New York family! As a teenager, Maybelline was my first ever makeup purchase,” says Cuppy who is known worldwide as a DJ, Musician, and Philanthropist “It is exciting to be a voice for not only myself but for every other young girl who wants to feel appreciated and valued in their various communities. We are strong, beautiful and capable of exceeding expectations and that to me is what Maybelline stands for. I could not be prouder to represent them and make it happen.”

On instagram she gushes about her collaboration with the Maybelline brand and speaks on her goal to drive inclusiveness and project Africa to the world through global beauty.

She is also seen on twitter running around in London wearing Maybelline’s fit me foundation where she writes

Maybelline in an official statement says that the company “seeks to foster inclusiveness and empower all to make it happen”.

We are definitely here for this collaboration and only wish the Maybelline brand and DJ cuppy well on all their future endeavours!
