As we mentioned before, Omoyemi is the face behind Lagos Fashion week; the first platform in Africa that gives African brands the opportunity to showcase their brands to the local and international market.
The LFW brings the key players in the Nigerian and African fashion industry every year, with the aim of driving commerce and creativity in the industry. They are one of the biggest and most looked out for fashion shows happening in Africa every year.

This amazing woman isn’t just the face behind LFW, and she doesn’t just own Style House Files. She also has other subsidiary companies like SHFTrains. This company manages and facilitates training to improve the quality of garment production for the Nigerian apparel sector at the NEPC/HCDC. Suffice it to say that she is in the business of creating value. We love that she sees a problem and finds a solution.
3. She is a mentor to young women
Mrs Omoyemi Akerele is a businesswoman, entrepreneur, a happily married woman with three beautiful daughters. She uses her platform not only to showcase her love for fashion but also her love for her family. We love that she shows us through her platform that you can indeed have it all.
