Onwuchekwas SS20 collection is inspired by a fictional yet true conversation between 3 people.

Narrator: In a city where it is the norm to mind your neighbours business; lived Daniel and three other friends or so he thought.

Plot: Eyinnaya, Hyacinth and Chukwudi meet up for drinks and Nwokobi. It is often said that excitement makes the tongue lighter. They begin to talk about Daniel, a familiar stranger.

Eyinnaya: Guys!!! did you see what Daniel wore to Benson’s store launch?

Chukwudi: (loud laughter) he looked like he was doing too much. (Hyacinth chips in)

Hyacinth: The clothes are nice, but there’s always an unusual detail somewhere.

Eyinnaya: Hyacinth hapu godu that thing.

Chukwudi:(laughs with mockery) I feel Hyacinth will join the Kindred soon. (Hyacinth who is now a little uncomfortable but still unmoved says.)

Hyacinth: Gest all you want, but people are different. Daniel happens to be one of the few PECULIAR ones that are in a CLASS OF THEIR OWN.

Narrator: An advice for Hyacinth, you can’t be the arsonist and the firefighter. And to Daniel Chin up, “we are always bad in someone’s story.
