Join me “Lollysticks” alongside Stylemeafrica, as this curvy girl takes on this trendy world by storm, transforming fashion trends to meet my size, my style, and my fashion sense. With the society & media constantly pushing our generation to embrace skinny women more than plus size ladies. There is an awful amount of pressure to appear smaller than we are , hence majority of plus size women are Leary of wearing Colorful or white outfit let alone an “all-white look”.We tend to embrace darker colors more, especially the color ‘Black” because historically it is more forgiving to the body and may give perception of the body appearing more slimmer. In my opinion finding the appropriate dress is far more important than the rule of no white dresses for plus size women. So let’s get into these dress, shall we?  So recently I was a guest at an intimate and small destination wedding ceremony- in New York City. At first, when the Bride asked all her close friends to wear white, I was surprised due to the cliché and unwritten rule of never wearing white to someone else’s wedding.  I selected a dress called “The Wedding Guest” sourced by Kairosshoppers. Ladies, Let me tell you that this dress was absolutely stunning. It was truly the perfect little white dress. The dress enhanced my curves and instantly boosts my confidence. This white dress is easy to wear and comfortable , which checks off the main boxes for me. An added bonus was the ruffles on the sleeves in it self made a statement of royalty and class. White Dress for plus sizeStatement Dress for plus sizeDress Here
